UB’s Milk Bar is where nostalgia meets bold, modern flavour. Born in Ipswich and proudly family-run, we’ve spent years perfecting the craft of ice-cream making hand-churning every batch on site using local ingredients, real produce, and a whole lot of imagination.

From our signature flavours like bacon salted caramel, lavender honeycomb, and blue cheese & fig, to our seasonal creations inspired by the community around us, we’re here to bring you desserts that are as exciting as they are delicious.

But we’re more than ice cream. UB’s Milk Bar is a full retro-diner experience: gourmet burgers, loaded shakes, waffles, sundaes, poffertjes, classic hotdogs, and the warm, old-school hospitality you only get from a true local business. Our space has welcomed everything from family celebrations to indie films, live music nights, car meets, school events, and first dates.

For seven years, our mission has been simple, create moments people remember and flavours they talk about. We’re the little guy in a world of big franchises, and every scoop, burger, and smile that leaves our counter reflects the heart of a community that’s supported us from day one.
